Commitment

Accessibility statement

This consulate wants everyone to be able to read its information and book an appointment, whatever their abilities or the technology they use.

Compliance status

This site has been built following the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. A formal conformance audit has not yet been carried out, so no level of compliance is claimed at this stage.

Measures taken

  • Semantic structure with a heading hierarchy and identified regions.
  • A link to skip straight to the main content.
  • Full keyboard navigation, with the focus always visible.
  • Colour contrast verified on both light and dark backgrounds.
  • Calendar occupancy is not conveyed by colour alone: each day also states the number of free spaces.
  • Alternative text on images and a label bound to every form field.
  • Form errors are announced as text, not by colour alone.
  • The site is available in Spanish and English, and the language is declared on every page.

Non-accessible content

  • Forms and documents hosted on third-party sites may not meet the same criteria.
  • No review with users of assistive technology has been carried out yet.

Reporting problems
